Warranty Terms and Conditions
Tornado XP for Light and Construction Equipment guarantees its products against manufacturing defects for the specific warranty period designated for each product, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this document. The purchase or use of the product constitutes explicit acceptance by the customer of all the terms and conditions mentioned below.
This warranty does not cover any defects, malfunctions, or damages resulting directly or indirectly from misuse, negligence, accidents, operation contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions, utilization of the equipment for purposes other than its intended use, tampering with the product, unauthorized modifications, or failure to adhere to the recommended maintenance schedules.
The warranty period varies depending on the type of product and is specified and clarified on the tax invoice, the warranty card, or via the company's official website.
First: Conditions for Warranty Validity
- The warranty shall only be valid upon the presentation of the original invoice or any official document proving the purchase process.
- Warranty services are strictly limited to maintenance centers belonging to Tornado XP or entities authorized by it.
- The technical report issued by one of the authorized service centers is considered the final reference in determining whether the malfunction is covered by the warranty or not.
- The customer has the right to request a product inspection by an independent and accredited entity in accordance with the regulations and specifications applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company shall bear the inspection costs only if a technical error originating from one of its service centers is proven.
- The customer is committed to using the product solely for its intended purpose, and in accordance with the operation manual and the technical instructions of the equipment.
- Original or officially approved spare parts and accessories from the manufacturer or the importing company (Tornado XP) must be used.
- The warranty is automatically voided if the product is dismantled, modified, or repaired by unauthorized entities, or if non-original spare parts are used, or if any stickers, serial numbers, or identification marks of the product are removed or altered.
- This warranty applies exclusively to products sold by Tornado XP for Light and Construction Equipment.
Second: Exclusions (Cases Not Covered by the Warranty)
This warranty does not cover malfunctions or damages resulting from any of the following cases:
- Misuse, incorrect operation, or using the equipment for purposes other than those for which it was designed.
- Accidents, dropping, breakage, improper storage, or improper transportation.
- Using unstable power sources or electrical connections that do not comply with the approved technical specifications.
- Operating the equipment using generators or unapproved power sources, unless the product is specifically designed for this purpose.
- Exposure to unsuitable operating conditions, including high temperatures, high humidity, rain, poor ventilation, or any environmental conditions that adversely affect operational safety.
- Operating the equipment in desert environments or areas exposed to dust and sandstorms without taking appropriate protective measures.
- Damages resulting from natural disasters or circumstances beyond control.
- Malfunctions resulting from non-compliance with operating procedures and instructions.
- Parts and consumables that are subject to natural wear and tear resulting from use, including but not limited to:
- Power switches.
- Wires and cables.
- Bearings (Ball bearings).
- O-rings and rubber seals.
- Filters.
- Any similar consumable components.
Third: Customer Responsibilities
- Inspecting the product upon receipt to ensure its soundness and the completeness of all its accessories.
- Providing a suitable power source that is compatible with the technical specifications of the equipment.
- Retaining the original invoice and all proof of purchase documents throughout the warranty period.
Fourth: Maintenance and Service Procedures
- The customer is obliged to bring the product to the service center for inspection or maintenance if the company is unable to collect the product directly from the customer.
- In the event of providing external or field maintenance services, the customer shall bear the transportation costs and any services or spare parts not covered by the warranty.
- The estimated maintenance period shall not exceed fourteen (14) business days, excluding official holidays or cases of delayed availability of spare parts from the manufacturer.
- An official receipt bond is issued when handing over the product for maintenance, and this bond is considered the official document required to receive the product after the completion of maintenance work.
- Tornado XP bears no legal or financial responsibility for products that are not collected within thirty (30) days from the date the customer is notified of the completion of maintenance work.
